Renate Wurzinger, geb. Walser
Born in Wien und grown up in Gortipohl, I then graduated at the Hotel Management School in Bad-Hofgastein, Salzburg. After that, I did several seasons in different companies, in order to widen my knowledge.
Born in Steiermark, I did my education to become cook in the renowned Parkhotel, located in Graz. Following, I gathered a lot of experience and know-how in different companies, as well inland as abroad. Cooking is my calling and passion.
Our house was bought by our grandparents Franz and Amabile Walser in 1964, then renovated and opened in June 1965. Until 1970, they led “Traube” with diligence. Many liter wine flood and many feast were held by established clubs.
In 1972, Harold and Angela-Susanne Walser took over the company and improved the house.
In 1975, the first expansion started, which included a new cellar, bowling alley, dining hall and seven rooms.
In 1979 the building was expanded with two additional floors, each of them with seven double rooms.
In 1986, the old building was demolished and rebuild again.
Since 1993, Jürgen and Renate Wurzinger lead the family business.
Step by step we have renovated and modernised the house.
In 2004, we did a further expansion with a large wellness installation, a new restaurant and additional guestrooms (comfort rooms).
Because of tradition (rooted to the soil) and our principle to act with full personal dedication, looking ahead and honesty, many guests became regular guests and friends.
Renate and Jürgen, the whole “Traube-Team” are, as a family business with a lot of love and care, there for their guests.
